Gwenview up to version 1.4.x had a very nice "external tools" functionality. It
was like mentioned in comment #14:
1) create menu entry: "external tool"
2) assign command line
3) select images
4) call external tool from context menu
But for some reason, the external tools disappeared, when going from 1.x to
2.x. :(
