Bug ID: 379916 Summary: some people tags are missing Product: digikam Version: 5.5.0 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Tags Assignee: [hidden email] Reporter: [hidden email] Target Milestone: --- I'm using 4:5.5.0-zesty~ppa1 from https://launchpad.net/~philip5/+archive/ubuntu/extra on Kubuntu 17.04. I've just upgraded. On opening everything seems to be working normally except that a lot of people tags are missing. They're missing from the interface but can still be assigned, and (in some cases) found on photos - they're like ghost tags. The tags are those that have been around the longest, they're all my most used ones that are nested eg: Family > Jones > Pappa Jones. So I could still tag "Pappa Jones" and it's still suggested in the tag tree, it comes up as Tags > ... , but it doesn't appear in the People tags or in the normal tag view. Searching for the tag doesn't find anything but I can locate an image and the tag is on it (I can't check all images there are thousands). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. |

Maik Qualmann <[hidden email]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |[hidden email] --- Comment #2 from Maik Qualmann <[hidden email]> --- Look in setup->misc for the new option to show face tags. Or mark your people as face tags with right click context menu in the tags tree. Maik -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. |

--- Comment #3 from [hidden email] --- (In reply to caulier.gilles from comment #1) > By People tags, you want mean Face tags ? > > Gilles Caulier Yes. When you look in the tag hierarchy the parent tag is called "people" in my install, perhaps that was a setting I made. Below it are the Unconfirmed and Unknown tags and the other children are the names of people I've tagged. Weirdly, it's just appeared - I had a hierarchy below People, and on restarting now I find it is present. Probably list as resolved and close, leave for others in case they have the same issue. Tres bizarre. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. |
