Screenshot depicting sideways thumbnails

When I navigate Faces either Unknown or those already tagged, the thumbnail
image is often not showing the correct part of the image or is a sideways
image.

Opening the image in preview shows that the face is correctly alligned to the
head of the individual and that the photo is correctly rotated
