https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=369833 Bug ID: 369833
Summary: Digikam 5: Some keys do not work as in Digikam 4 when
tagging images
Product: digikam
Version: 5.2.0
Platform: Kubuntu Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: Tags

With Digikam 4, for tagging my photos I used what is labeled "the keyboard way"
in this description:
http://www.digikam.org/node/641
Now with Digikam 5.2 it seems no longer possible to save changes and move to
the next image by hitting the "page down" key on the keyboard after assigning
all the desired tags.
Another problem: When I start typing the desired tag, a list of matching tag
suggestions appear. With Digikam 4, I would use the "Tab" key to jump to this
list of tag suggestions. This also does not work with Digikam 5.2.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Tag photos as described in
http://www.digikam.org/node/641 "The keyboard
way",
2. enter the first letters of the desired tag in the first box from the top,
3. use "tab" key to jump to tag suggestion list and select a matching tag, then
hit "enter",
4. use "page down" key to save changes and move to the next image
Actual Results:
Steps 3. and 4. do not work.
Expected Results:
Steps 3. and 4. should work as described in
http://www.digikam.org/node/641"The keyboard way"
