sorry, but in 5.4 the desired behaviour - item focus in fixed in the middle -
is not working.

In Linux 5.4 the focus moves to the outer area of right (or left) - this
behaviour is undesired.

This option is optional and is disabled at default. Look in the settings->
miscellaneous.
