Bug ID: 330509 Summary: The "properties", "captions & tags" & "colors" sidebars all cause digikam to freeze when a picture is selected. Classification: Unclassified Product: digikam Version: 3.4.0 Platform: MS Windows OS: MS Windows Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: crash Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: [hidden email] Reporter: [hidden email] When I open the "properties" sidebar and select a picture, or vice versa, the properties for that picture display - but the moment I try to select another picture, or another sidebar, or try to go to one of the menues, or do just about anything else with digikam, digikam stops responding. I have the same problem with the "captions & tags" sidebar and the "colors" sidebar. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open the "properties", "captions & tags" or "colors" sidebar. 2. Select a picture. 3. Select a new picture or sidebar. Actual Results: Digikam does not display the new picture or sidebar, and does not respond to any further input. The titlebar of the window displays "(not responding)". Expected Results: Display the new picture or sidebar. I am running Windows 8.1. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ Digikam-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel |

--- Comment #3 from [hidden email] --- I am using Windows, not OSX, so the latest version with an installer I can use is 4.10.0 I have tried digiKam 3.2.0, 3.3.0, 3.4.0, and now 4.10.0. The bug I reported does not occur in 3.2.0. It does occur in both both 3.3.0 and 3.4.0. In digiKam 4.10.0 digiKam no longer freezes when a picture is selected and the "captions & tags" sidebar is open, but it still does when a picture is selected and the "properties" or "colors" sidebar is open.
