Canon camera use libgphoto2 to generate thumbs. This depend of Gphoto2 drivers
support...

It must work typically for JPEG. For RAW, i think it's not. As i don't have a
Canon camera, and as i use UMS download, i cannot reproduce the problem...

That's right. It works for JPEG, but RAW. Should I file a bug for the
libgphoto2-project instead/as well ?
