[digikam] [Bug 319283] New: Differentiate "not rated" from "zero stars"

Anguo
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=319283

            Bug ID: 319283
Summary: Differentiate "not rated" from "zero stars"
    Classification: Unclassified
           Product: digikam
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Labels
          Assignee: [hidden email]
          Reporter: [hidden email]

I want to award the very worst pictures "zero stars".  It may be a cultural
thing, but for me, "five star" means the very best, "one star" means the
picture is quite bad but still has some redeemable value.

Reproducible: Always

Actual Results:
Currently, there are 6 rating levels:
- unrated.
- 5 stars.
- 4 stars.
- 3 stars.
- 2 stars.
- 1 star.

Expected Results:
Ideally, there would be 7 rating levels:
- unrated.
- 5 stars.
- 4 stars.
- 3 stars.
- 2 stars.
- 1 star.
- 0 stars.

In the current set up, unrated == 0 stars, which means we cannot differentiate
one from the other.
I'd like to go over the whole collection and filter to see only unrated
pictures so that I can rate them. This way, I can make sure that every single
picture in my collection is properly rated on a 0 to 5 scale.

0 start and not rated has the same signification in digiKam and there is no
plan to separate these properties.
