digikam 3.4.0 crashes on Mac OSX 10.8.4

I've installed digikam 3.4.0 using the Macports. digikam
crashes at start-up, but works if I click on Restart Application.
It crashes again if I select Table. Otherwise, seems to work.

Any hint on how to solve this? Any way I can provide error information
to help fixing this?
