digikam 2.5.0 no Thumbnails visible

I installed digikam 2.5.0 from the Windows Installer.
After the setup I have imported my album (35,000 images).
After the import is in the preview but no thumbnails visible.
The thumbnails are also after repeated re-install of digikam is not
visible.
Where can this be wrong?
