My version of digikam often keeps a message window stuck on my desktop. I run kubuntu with the beta version 7.0.0-beta3 in flatpak , but I think I remember it also doing this in stock 6.4.0 ? I'm wondering if there are others (e.g. regular ubuntu) who have also seen this sticky behavior. It's probably not digikam's fault, but the desktop manager? - peter
here's an example of my sticky window (when the editor saved an

Yes, I see that sometimes on Debian with Gnome. I'm not sure whose fault it is but it can normally be made to go away by hovering over it, or clicking on it or something. Andrew |
Usually a timer runs and closes the window. I work under a KF5 desktop, there
we use the native notification service. But I also often work with the Windows version and I have never seen it glued there. Maik Am Montag, 6. I was doing some album work last night, and today at 3pm I still had 4 stickies. I would have to go back to native 6.4 to see if it's done right. If so, maybe another flatseal setting. I so dislike flatpak. On Mon, Jul 6, 2020, 16:18 Maik Qualmann <[hidden email]> wrote: Usually a timer runs and closes the window. I work under a KF5 desktop, there |
