[digiKam-users] libjack problem

digikam-2
Opensuse leap 15.1.

I crashed with my previous system (drive problem).

Brand new install of Leap 15.1, downloaded DK6.2 appimage it won't
start, I get the following error:

$ downloads/appimages/digikam-6.2.0-x86-64.appimage

-- digiKam Linux AppImage Bundle
-- Use 'help' as CLI argument to know all available options for
 digiKam application. -- Note: to integrate this bundle to your
 desktop, use AppImageLauncher. libudev.so.0

-- Preloading shared libs:
digikam: error while loading shared libraries: libjack.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Re: libjack problem

Gilles Caulier-4
Hi,

Did you solve this problem by installing libjack shared library on your system ?

It's not recommended by AppImage team to include low level hardware libraries in the bundle, for binary compatibility.

Best
