[digiKam-users] how to use similarity search

Hi All

I wanted to use similarity search on DK6.0DB2 (30/10), but doesn't find how to launch it

I have selected some albums , use the search from the contextual menu, but didn't find the "go" button

still have the same problem

I'm now using beta3 Build date: Nov 10 2018 (target: RelWithDebInfo)

and wanted to search for a picture that would be similar to another one, but still don't see any button to launch the search

Hi Frederic,

In fuzzy image search, there is no "go" button.
When you select an image to search similar images for,
the search is done after a short delay automatically.

If you do not get any results, you maybe haven't
updated the fingerprints (This can be done with the
button in duplicates tab).
If you did update the fingerprints, perhaps try it with
a different similarity range.
