I’m trying out digikam which I hope will be an improvement over Photoshop Elements which I have been using for almost 20 years

I need to be able to view all pictures in all of my folders at the same time

How can I do that?

I tried posting on the community forum but was blocked

Under Menu-> View, you can turn on showing sub-albums, and then select your
parent album.
