[digiKam-users] [digikam-users] digikam (win10) & darktable coupling

I use 6.10 version of digikam (win 10) which is still working in couple to darktable. When installing further versions of digikam, including the nightly built ones, exported images from Darktable are saved in the proper directory but digikam does not show them. The correct behaviour I have with 6.10 (showing the exported files after few instants) is not present in further developed versions. Why? What can I check to get similar behaviour with new versions?

PS. when installing new ones all preferences are left as previously established and not touched

I have same issue. I export from Darktable and/or Krita to same folder
(album) but new images doesn't appear automatically as in past versions. I
was thinking I changed something in my Digikam configuration, but I do not
change anything. I need to press F5 to reload the album or quit Digikam and
enter again.

F5 is effective then? In my case reload does not work

Look in setup/Miscs/Collection dialog. There is an option named "Monitor the albums for external changes"

Yes, F5 works for me. Changing from folder (album) doesn't. And effectively, the mentioned option was disabled (I didn't change status, maybe it's default status in latest version?). Once the option is enabled, it works fine.
