Hi, 

Is there any debug / log file of the application? 

I want to monitor and understand what the application does in the background, like when they update my photos files, update the internal database, etc. 

If yes, how can I enable this log?

Windows version of digiKam? Download DebugView from Microsoft.

Yes, windows version. 

Just downloaded it, very smal and light.
