[digiKam-users] db6b3 slowing down

digikam-2
db6b3 28-dec is seriously slowing down when paging down in the
thumbnail browsing.

I did a search that resulted in 12556 images out of 47000 images. I
was paging down to select images. At around 9000, the down arrow for
next row of 3 images takes about 10 seconds to page the next row.

This depends on which tab on the right sidebar is open. Use the Metdaten tab
and it's fast. Slow with the tags tab, because all images are examined, which
tags are set. Same behavior with digiKam-5.9.0.

In this case: no

All the tabs on the right are closed. This is my default view when I search for images.

But it's good to know.

Thanks
