[digiKam-users] batch-processor + lens correction

Uwe Haider
Hi,

I try to burn a DVD of a bunch of files. first step is lens correction
and converting them to jpeg using the batch processor.

The problem is the automatic lens correction by metadata. All files from
my Olympus PEN F are not working via metadata. In the batch processor
the lens correction tool shows only the correct lens, neither the
manufacturer or the body.

If I look at the same files metadata lens and body are correct,
manufacturer is Olympus Corporation. Lens fun expects Olympus Imaging Corp.

How can I get this working?

best regards

Found it:

just correct the manufacturer in
/var/lib/lensfun-updates/version_1/mil-olympus.xml and it works like a
charm....

best regards

Hi,

Report this problem to LensFun team to introduce the fix in Lens database officially or to found an alternative in source code.
