[digiKam-users] batch process strange behavior

fch22
Hi All

I'm using DK6.0 on windows

I have created a batch which contain only 2 actions:

- apply a metadata model

- inset a watermark (text)

the initial picture size was 9M, and the final picture size is only
1,9M, botyh are Jpeg

any idea why/how the batch is introducing this compression ?

thanks

The Batch Queue Manager (BQM) has a tab "save images" (or alike, i'm on
german version). Here you can specify the Jpeg quality. Mine was by default
using 75% which is rather low, better use something like 85 - 90 %

Does this help?
