[digiKam-users] XMP file extension and darktable

fffddgfsgdsdfsgds
Hi,

I have a picture called "XXX.RAF". When I change metadata with DigiKam it
writes a file "XXX.XMP". The problem is that darktable and other software
want a file called "XXX.RAF.XMP". Is there a way to configure this?

Yes, you have activated the deactivated default setting "Sidecar filenames for
proprietary programs" in the digiKam metadata settings on the tab for
sidecars. Deactivate the option again. You also have to delete the sidecar
file, otherwise it still has priority when reading.
