[digiKam-users] Wrong copyright year

[digikam-2]

DK 6.4.0

I have the wrong copyright year on my images. The problem is that
it's in the EXIF. I forgot to update the copyright year in the camera
(Canon 7DMkII). The camera has the correct date and time of capture.

How can I change all the copyrights in DK to show:

string -- yyyy of capture?

A copyright date doesn't really exist, but mostly the publication date field
is used. You should be able to change it with the metadata editor in digiKam.

In the metadata editor: how to access the capture year?

string -- YYYY give me the literal "string -- YYYY". I'd like the
year of the image: "string -- 2019".

[Maik Qualmann]

You can change the copyright with the metadata editor (see screenshot). To
change it directly in the image, you have to activate the writing of metadata
for RAW files in the digiKam settings. You just can't do it in batch at the
moment, so each image individually.

Thanks but that only works for one image. I'd like to do it for all
albums, that span more than one year.
