[digiKam-users] Where/how to set 'Photograph Properties'?

Chris Green
I'm scanning some (more) slides and I want to set the camera and film
type in 'Photograph Properties' in the pop-up which appears when you
hover the mouse pointer over a thumbnail.

So I want a way that I can "Edit Metadata" for multiple images, just
selecting all the images and editing the metadata doesn't work, it
only sets the data for one image.

What works for me:
 - add the caption to one of the images, make sure it's applied
 - select all the other images where you want to apply the same
caption
 - select the image where you have added the caption *this must be
the active image*
- now you will see the caption in the edit box. Do a small edit on
it, e.g. add and remove a "." (dot)
- apply the "edit", it should now be applied to all the selected
images.

Yes, this works for Caption/Description but you can't do the same with
Edit Metadata.  The things I want to change don't appear in the fields
on the right hand side like Caption/Description etc. do.
