[digiKam-users] Was DK 7.2 released?

Hi,

I was just looking at the DK Release plan (https://www.digikam.org/documentation/releaseplan/)

It says that DK 7.2 is to be released on 2020-12-20. 

But when I go to the main DK website, I only see DK 7.2 beta and DK 7.1.

Was DK 7.2 released two days ago but the website not updated with new download links?

Or is DK 7.2 delayed?

PS. If DK 7.2 is not relased yet this mail is not meant to stress anyone. I am just in the process of installing a new laptop. And I would like to install DK 7.2 if it is indeed available somewhere.

Hi all users,

The release dates are a little bit delayed. We advance in bug triage
to plan a new 7.2.0 beta 2 release before the end of year.

I will update the release plan during Christmas holidays.

Hi all users,

Today i try to fix and finalize the MacOS PKG installer as real
relocate application for Apple:

MacOS support will be really better with next 7.2.0, as you can see
the very long story to make digiKam compatible with BigSur:

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=429103

Later Christmas time we will release 7.2.0 beta2 probably this weekend.

For a final release, we will wait for feedback during a few weeks, and
we will be ready for the official 7.2.0.

Voilà, I hope for a Merry Christmas 2020, hoping 2021 is better for all...
