[digiKam-users] Upload to Google Photos Fails

Tac Tacelosky
Uploading to Google Photos fails.  After authenticating via Google, it still goes to a localhost address (127.0.0.1).

Is there another solution?   Some apps have a command line login that sets the token in a local file or environment variable.

Latest stable version, just downloaded.

This looks like a digiKam version < 6.0.0. Google has disabled the PicasaWeb
API. You need digiKam >= 6.0.0.

I must admit I never solved my (same?) issue with Google Photos. Always using latest. Perhaps I need to start from
scratch in a fresh account on the local side.
