I had Digikam 5.9 on Windows 10. My album folder were C:\Album.
Then I made a fresh installation of Windows 10 and I installed Digikam 6.1. When I ran it for the first time I selected the old folder (which I moved to D:\Album) and all tags and subfolders are correctly shown. Even small previews are shown. But if I try to open any image, Digikam says that the location is not available. What should I do? |
Please install DebugView tool from Microsoft, and run it before to try to reproduce the problem with digiKam. DebugView will show all DK debug statements. Report the trace here for investigations. Hi, I do not see anything wrong in this log, and in fact i just seen at end a very short scan collection with nothing about the database (as corruption or error query) Can you do the same trace capture while the maintenance tool is started to rescan all collection and regerate thumbnails ? Thanks for answer. I clicked on refresh, then I selected the same folder but the collection still appears to be unavailable.

I've just tried to delete the collection (which was under Removable Device) and I added it again but to local collection and it works!!!
