I started using digikam around a year ago and absolutely love it. But one issue has plagued me during every recent version - which is a constant refresh of thumbnails (i.e. flickering) with some not even appearing (i.e.the tile remains completely blank).
This makes using the system almost unusable (although I don't want to give up!). Changing to Preview mode saves my sanity - but I wonder why I continue to suffer this problem in Thumbnails mode. Current version is 7.0.0 and I'm running it on macOS Catalina 10.15.6 (on a 2017 27" Retina 5K iMac with Radeon Pro 580 8GB graphics). Hoping someone can help - thanks in advance :) |
Hi,
A quick response for you is to use the last stable published 2 days ago (announcement not yet done), and available at usual place : https://download.kde.org/stable/digikam/7.1.0/ The new release comes with more than 300 files closed in bugzilla. https://bugs.kde.org/buglist.cgi?f1=cf_versionfixedin&limit=0&list_id=1786613&o1=equals&order=bug_id&product=digikam&v1=7.1.0 Check if problem still here with this new version Best regards Gilles Caulier Le sam. 5 sept. 2020 à 11:16, Graeme Rubble <[hidden email]> a écrit : > > I started using digikam around a year ago and absolutely love it.
