[digiKam-users] Strange Display Behaviour

Running 7.1.0 appImage on Mint 20

My pictures are in folders by year and I make use of face tags
extensively.  I just selected one of my granddaughters in People. What I
see is rather odd.  As I look through the thumbnails they start at 2016,
birth year, then 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, then more 2019 with
duplicates of some, but not all, from the first 2019 list.

Any idea what could cause this?
