[digiKam-users] Star rating

I have not used star rating so far. Intend to do so now. One question, is the
star rating stored along with the metadata like tags in the sidecar files or
in the DNG file if the option to write to DNG files switched on.  Can this
information be read by Adobe Bridge?

Yes, the rating is stored in metadata:
>>  <rdf:Description
>>  ...
>>    xmp:Rating="2"

I don't use Adobe products (not available under Linux) so I don't know if
Bridge can read them. But if Bridge can find/read the sidecar files, it can
probably read the rating: the item is in the "xmp" namespace (provided by
Adobe...).
