[digiKam-users] Stacked images tool

Mike-3
Are there instructions for using this tool? I've tried it and all I get
is a image with vertical colored bars. I found a short paragraph in
Digikam Recipes but it didn't offer any real help.

I tested the Stacked Image Tool again, no problems. There are no special
features with this tool either, it should work without problems in the basic
settings. Which digiKam version do you use exactly, on which platform?
What kind of images are you using, RAW, JPEG or other?

...and another important Q:which hugin program version did you use?
Hugin CLI is used in the background to process image stacking.

I'm using Digikam 7.2.0 on Linux Mint 20.1. The images were RAW Nikon .nef files. I tried several sets of images. All gave me the same results. The version of Hugin is 2019.2.0.b690aa0334b5.
