Hi, I'm new to Digikam, and looking to use it to replace Lightroom. A key
feature is to be able to quickly and efficiently tag photos with IPTC keywords so I can find them again (and also for upload to stock sites). One of the problems I'm having is that I have around 500 existing tags across the collection which are new to Digikam. This results in a huge list in the Tags tab, which in itself is fine. But when I click on a photo thumbnail, seeing which tags have already been applied to that photo is not possible without scrolling down the list and looking for checked items. Is there a way to change the sort order of the hierarchy view so that checked/existing tags on a particular photo will bubble up to the top? -- Sent from: http://digikam.1695700.n4.nabble.com/digikam-users-f1735189.html |
Hello,
Not sure if it is possible to get the used ones at the top. Though you can filter make only the used ones visible. There is a button for that below the tags list. /Anders Den tors 14 feb. 2019 kl 13:29 skrev Webreaper <[hidden email]>: > > Hi, I'm new to Digikam, and looking to use it to replace Lightroom. Ah, that's perfect - and exactly what I needed. I missed it because the contrast of the icon is very feint, so it just looked like a rectangle, not a button. Thank you! On Thu, 14 Feb 2019 at 15:01, Anders Stedtlund <[hidden email]> wrote: Hello, |
You can play with Themes and Icon settings to get more contrast, e.g. a dark theme and 'breeze dark' icons work well together.
