[digiKam-users] Not showing latin-1 characters correctly

Just updated to version 6, I can text from metadata is not correctly showed,
like when HTML pages were not using UTF8 character set. In this case,
characters like "áéíóúÁÉÍÓÚ" or even double quotes character (mostly saved
from PhotoShop on the photo metadata) are not showed correctly.

Can you share a file to check if char encoding is also broken here ?

If I see it right we are in the IPTC metadata. Probably PhotoShop has now
begun to encode the fields in UTF-8. A test image would really be very good to
see if the metadata field with the encoding info is set correctly. Then we can
support that too.
