I am now running v. 7.0.0 rc for Mac. Is there any way to do the following: Export selected or all metadata to a csv or text file Filter by "caption empty"? Thanks! Ronald Orenstein 1825 Shady Creek Court Mississauga, ON L5L 3W2 Canada ronorenstein.blogspot.com ronorensteinwriter.blogspot.com |
Hi,
I'm new to digiKam too so I'm not sure if you can export using digiKam, but check
out Exiftool and exifpilot which allow you to export meta data from image files. I
think both are multi platform programs.
Cheers,
DG

Thanks, David - much appreciated. Aperture actually allows you to do both of the things I asked about. If there are not DigiKam features I hope they will be added. DigiKam has the potential to be the new Aperture, and adding features like this can only help for those of us who are not comfortable getting ‘under the hood’ with Linux.
