DK 5.9.0 appimage on Manjaro XFCE
Mostly in searches, when I browse, the thumbnail is missing until I click on the image, then it shows it. https://i.imgur.com/MXaosOH.png (the yellow box) This also happens in albums > thumbnails but not as often. Occasionally, DK shows a part of the thumbnail and the rest of the thumbnail appears when I click on the thumbnail to highlight it. https://i.imgur.com/1a7ek5Q.png (the yellow box) -- sknahT vyS |
Hi, The iconview thumbnails are computed and stored to a dedicated database. Did you have enough place to expand this database ? The thumbnails database is not corrupted ? If yes, you will found some warning on the console. Best Gilles Caulier Le jeu. 11 oct. 2018 à 02:59, <[hidden email]> a écrit : DK 5.9.0 appimage on Manjaro XFCE |

No. Where are stored your sqlite database files ? Look into Configure dialog, database page. The DB for thumbnail is named "thumbnails-digikam.db". Gilles Caulier Le jeu. 11 oct. 2018 à 15:38, <[hidden email]> a écrit : On Thu, 11 Oct 2018 15:02:46 +0200 |

yes, so all look fine. I recommend to rename this fileas *.old and to restart digiKam. thumbnails will be rebuild from scratch. There is no risk for your data. This DB file only contains thumbnails image compressed with PGF wavelets.
