I have started to use face detection and while initially I found it
useful there does seem to be an annoying problem. Having scanned an album and tagged all the faces I know I want to scan again but start with an empty screen, I do not want or need to see all the previous results. I have not yet found a way to clear all the results so I can start again with only faces detected from the new album. How do I achieve this? I'm using 7.1 on openSUSE Tumbleweed. I may not fully understand your problem. But you can choose to skip images /
faces that have already been scanned. However, I would wait for digiKam-7.2.0 with face tagging. Maik Am Donnerstag, 25. Yes I know and have tried that but I'm still left with a whole load of
faces as unknown. How do I get rid of them they are all unknown but I don't need to see them any more. I just want them gone so all I have following a new scan is those images from the new scan and nothing else. Hi,
Definitively, 7.2.0 will improve users' experience with face workflow. We are near the final release, but you can already try this version with public daily build available here : https://files.kde.org/digikam/ Backup your database before to try this version, just to be sure.
