[digiKam-users] Is there way to sort by modification date?

Benjamin Block
Hello digikam-users,

just tried the new 6.0.0 beta3 for a bit, and I am pretty impressed,
very nice indeed. Only had some problems with pictures that had not the
correct file-type-extension, not being rendered correctly/at all, but I
guess that is more of a user-error than anything else.

The only thing I miss right now is a option to sort by modification date
(filesystem attribute), rather than creation date. At least for me that
is pretty useful, more so than creation date one regular basis.

I wonder if I just missed it, or if there is not such thing (maybe
something nice - and probably not so large - for the future).

best regards,
- Benjamin

Hi,

Switch to Table View and using contextual menu from table header will give you plenty options to list items by properties. Check this way.

Best

Hi Gilles

just wondering what you are calling the "table view". I found sorting
option from the menu : display/items sorting , is there another place to
set-up the sorting option?

thanks
