[digiKam-users] Import slide show as batch queue

Bogislav Wilmers-Rauschert
Hello,

I have created a slide show 3 years ago with a huge number of photos with digikam; the slide show is saved in the standard digikam format. All files have (unfortunately) the original name from the camera, and are located in a folder with many more files.

I would like to work with the photos; e.g., I would like to resize them and rename them (re-number them according to the order in the slide show).

Is it somehow possible to import the slide show file as a batch queue file list? Or is there another way to export the files from the slide show?

E.g., what I would like to do is to export only the files from the slideshow in this specific order into a Google Photo album. I could not figure out how to do this. If I could rename the files, I could just sort them and upload them in this specific order ...

Thanks for any hints and help!

No, there is no way to connect BQM and Advance Slideshow yet.

Please report this whish in bugzilla

Thanks in advance

PS : The Advanced Slideshow file list is an XML file, containing all file paths. With a script you can extract this list and copyt the relevant file to a new album, or, with Exiftool, append a digiKam tags (as a color lable in XMP digiKam namespace).
