[digiKam-users] Import photo's from google photo's

I’m new to DigiKam and am experiencing some troubles while setting up. I was wondering if someone could help me out?
My issue is the following. I got half of my photo’s on a hard drive and the other half on google foto’s. When trying to import from google foto’s DigiKam can only import albums. So I created an album with all my photo’s. When I tried to import that album only 100 foto’s where downloaded (out of 8000 or so). Does someone know what I’m doing wrong? Or what I should do to import all of them?

Problem still exists in V 7.2 Beta 2.  The dialog box only allows selecting
an Album from Google Photos in a drop down list.  There is no way to select
all.  On the other side of the problem Google does not provide a quick way
to add a lot of photos to an album.  Google only allows clicking on each
photo.  I have thousands & this is not helpful.

Just checking in to see if there is a workaround for this. I was just
attempting to import my photos from Google Photos, and ran into the same
issue with 7.2.0.

- Only can choose to import from Albums on Google Photos
- Not sure how to easily import all of my photos (especially since 95% are
not in albums).
