[digiKam-users] How to use Similarity feature

Jonathan Coles

The Similarity feature (v7.1.0) sounds interesting, but I can't figure out how to use it.

On a single image in an album I right-click and select Find Similar. Now I'm on a page with that one image and some options to choose folders to compare. OK. So how do I start the similarity search process? There's no Go or Find or any other action button.

Has anyone found a way to use this feature?

Thanks.

You'll need to generate fingerprints for the images first. Those are used to
check for similarity. Generating them can be a rather mong process, though!
