[digiKam-users] How to make a one-click workflow: Resize selected photos and export them to remote storage?

NeiNei
Hi there,

I am looking for a one-click workflow with which I could
1. Select all pics with a 5 star rating in an album
2. Resize all pics of the selection to a given size
3. Export the resized pics to a remote storage  (SMB share of a NAS)

How could I achieve this with DigiKam?

Manually I could 1, 2 and 3. With BQM I could do 2. But how to glue all
together to an one-click workflow?

Thanks for some hints in advance,
NeiNei

The 2 first one, yes, as a BQM workflow previously saved.

The stage 3 is not yet integrated in BQM. With 6.0.0 we have started to prepare the code with all export tools but it's not yet done. In fact all kipi tools are now dropped in favor of fully included tools in digiKam core. KIPI is an older API that we will not maintain in the future. As all export tools are now in digiKam as well, this will be more simple to extend the advanced uses in BQM.

If all is fine, this can be planed for 6.3.0 or 6.4.0 not before, excepted if a student will work on this topic at next GSoC 2019.
