Dear List
I'm on Windows and I keep stumbling across Digikams way of switching immediately to preview, whenever I left-click on a photo to select it. I've found old threads elsewhere where other users complained about this, and they were told to change their Linux-System-Settings somewhere from one-click-opening to two-click-opening behaviour. I am on Windows and I haven never touched any of the click-settings here. I navigate through files/directories with double-clicks, so the system-setting is not relevant here, imho. Is there a way to change digikams configuration, so I don't fall into the preview mode whenever I single-click on a photo? Many thanks Chris |
p.s. actually, I think I could get used to using the preview mode more
often. The main drawback there is that I don't have the same useful, very convenient left- and right-click-commands available as in thumbnail-view (such as the "select-item" button, or "add to lighttable", batch-que-manager, etc.). H, I respond in English, as this mailing list is only used in this language... Look well. In icon view to open file as preview or image editor, with 1 or 2 mouse click, you need to use the thumbnail area from icon view item. The rest of the view will only select the item without to open. Look also on top right corner, you have an icon over with "+" to select only the item. Gilles Caulier Le mer. 23 janv. 2019 à 08:26, Christof Elmiger <[hidden email]> a écrit : Dear List |

Which digiKam version do you use exactly, preferably with date. We only had a
version on the server for a few days that had used a single click. Due to user feedback a double click is used again, if it is set in the system. Maik Am Mittwoch, 23. Yes, this version is affected and uses the single click. The change again to
the double click took place from 12.12.2018. You can download today's digiKam-6.0.0 version. https://files.kde.org/digikam/ Maik Am Mittwoch, 23.
