[digiKam-users] How to apply a tag to a whole album and all its sub-albums?

Hi all,

I would like to apply a particular tag to all photos and videos contained in a particular album and its child albums (recursively). Is there a way to select all such items and tag them?

Set Digikam to show album with child albums, "select all" and set the tag?
(not tested).

If you use a tag hierarchy, you can set Digikam to apply all parent tags
automatically with a child tag.

Thanks! Is there a similar setting for parent and child albums, where I could select an album and perform a batch operation on all photos in the nested descendant albums?
