[digiKam-users] How delete album?

papertape
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
DigiKam 5.9.0

The Handbook says "To delete an Album, click with the right mouse button
over the Album in the 'Albums' tree and select Delete Album from the context
menu."
The mouse-3 menu has no Delete.  Also, the Album menu button's list has
Delete Album greyed out, except on trash.

Did I miss something?

Re: How delete album?

Maik Qualmann
Your described behavior is the same as when you try to delete the root album.
This is of course not, only sub-albums can be deleted. If you no longer want
to have the root album in digiKam, you have to remove it as a collection in
the diigiKam setup. But you have to delete it with a file manager.
