[digiKam-users] Help!! Just deleted in error - how to recover

Mick Sulley
Hi,

I ran a face scan, I thought on a single directory but it seems on the
whole collection.  When it had finished it was displaying all of the
Unknown faces, not what I wanted so I selected them all and hit 'delete'
when I should have just untagged them.

All the files are in .dtrash/files and .dtrash.info but there are also
many files from previous deletions.  How can I restore the files deleted
today?

Thanks

Mick

Which digiKam version do you use? Select the trash icon in the album view of
the collection.  No undo button to see? So if it is an older version, select
all images with today's date as the time of deletion and press the restore
button.

Brilliant!  Thanks Maik, that has saved me hours of manual recovery.

I am running 7 beta at the moment.  I just love this software!
