[digiKam-users] Generate People thumbnails in the background?

I noticed thumbnails of people's faces are quite slow to generate, and are
only generated when you are actively watching those faces (the ones that
have not been generated yet won't be until you scroll down). Is there a way
to generate all those pictures as a background process?

I wouldn't mind leaving my computer open for a night if that would mean all
the face thumbnails would be already in cache and displayed immediately next
time I visit them.
