[digiKam-users] Fwd: Reapearing tags after restart of DigiKam

Hello,

at the moment I'm facing the issue with 7.2.0 rc of reappearing tags after restart of digikam.

I deleted tags which don't even seem to be linked to any picture anymore. But after restart of Digikam tag is there again.

Same for Tags with pictures to it.

it seems there is no way of getting rid of them.

- lazy sync is off

- clean up the metadata from the database is on

I am thinking. Either the tags were not written to the files (maybe they are
read only?), Or the tags were saved to xmp sidecars but read from the files
(or viceversa). Or maybe even a problem with the database.
