[digiKam-users] File location

digikam-2
DK 5.9.0 appimage

I'd like to see the location of the file

https://i.imgur.com/sZcqcQb.png

I can only see the beginning. I need to enlarge the right panel to
almost half of the screen. (it's a long path, but not one of the
longest)

Is there a better way of finding the location of the image?

Move the mouse other the string display the partial image path. A tooltip must appear with the complete path.

Sorry but no, no tooltip. I'm on Manjaro (current) with XFCE.

Thanks

Hello,

this is one of the minor annoyances of DigiKam GUI :-) The properties
panel is not alligned correctly (it is always on center, so ifyou
stretch it, half of the screen will be blank and the path still won't be
visible).

I use a xclip and a simple bash script / desktop file (attached). So I
right click on an image, select Open With -> ToClipboard and the full
path is copied to clipboard.

Upon further testing (dk 5.9.0 appimage), the tooltip works on the
Filename, but not on the Folder
