When double-clicking a thumbnail from the Thumbnail view to get into the

In preview, if you got to next or previous items from the current album, icon-view must change the current item also. I meant even when not changing anything in Preview mode.
For example, I click on thumbnail X at the bottom of the thumbnail view window, it opens in Preview view window and I double-click the same image again, Then I am back in thumbnail view but thumbnail X moved to the top of the window. I'm sure we have a bug report for that. I could not reproduce the behavior,
neither here under Linux nor under Windows. The normal behavior is, the preview closes and the icon preview is in the same position. If you have not changed image selection in preview mode. I can't see anything special, excepted an error reported by Qt about the welcome page view where text formatting is wrong about missing argument with QString.
