[digiKam-users] Does digiKam store "Date Added to the collection or database" ?

I would like to sort images by date they were added to the database.

Is that possible?

That is how I sort them now but I think it is 'date created(taken)' not 'date added', isn't it?

I believe the date sorting sorts by the last modified file time. I haven't found a way to sort by the "Date taken" field.

I don't think so.

I just added an image (see the one to the left) and modified it:

But it still shows next to pictures taken in 2014 (see the image on the right) not 2019.

The sorting order is by date.
