[digiKam-users] Digikam 6.2 bad sorting

Hi
This is an old problem, it now concerns digikam 6.2
I sort files by creation date/reverse order, it works.
Then, after tagging some files, i discover these tagged files are sorted
first. I think digikam considers them as "just created".
Is there a way to avoid this bad sorting or is it a bug?

I think there is somewhere an option to update the file date when
changing metadata or not. This should solve your problem

You can go to the menu Edit, "Re-read metadata from file". If it has really
been written to the file, re-reading the file should do it. Also, you can
check the metadata panel on the right, to see if your date is really there.

In any case, the date should be refreshed automatically after changing the
metadata, so if it isn't, it is possibly a bug.
