[digiKam-users] DLNA export omits some pictures?

Tom Cunningham

I am using DLNA export to send a single folder of pictures on a Windows 10 machine to AirPlay&UPnP on an Amazon FireStick.  When I start viewing the contents of the folder, some of the photos don’t display.  If I use Universal Media Server to talk to the FireStick, I see all of the photos.  Any possible explanations, or does this warrant a bug report?

Thanks,

Tom

Hi,

DLNA export use Platinium framework API to export contents to DLNA device.

This framework is also used in Kody media player.

Typically, it follow the standard. The rest is delegate to the device which display contents. So i suspect a bug to the device firmware.
